Isobel Taylor

Marketing and Communications Coordinator

As a lifelong lover of dance and the performing arts, Isobel Taylor began her dance training in Newcastle at Dance City and Gillian Quinn School of Theatre Dance, with whom she completed a pre-professional dance tour across Europe. She also completed summer courses at Northern Ballet, Urdang, and British Youth Music Theatre, and a work experience placement with Newcastle Theatre Royal. She then went on to study The University of Leeds where she specialised in English Literature and Theatre Studies, with a year abroad at The University of Sydney, graduating with a First Class degree in 2018.

During her time at Leeds, Isobel was a part of Stage Musicals Society, Musical Theatre Society, and Theatre Group, with whom she took on a variety of roles including performance, direction and production. She was also elected as the Drama President of the Devonshire Halls Junior Common Room in her first year, and was part of performance groups outside of university including taking three shows to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as both a performer and creative.

Following her time at university, Isobel Taylor moved to London where she worked in the publishing industry for four and a half years, focusing on marketing for Children’s Books with Bonnier Books UK, building on skills gained in her internships at Mslexia Publications and Broadsheet Media. She is now excited to be returning to the world of performing arts and is thrilled to bring her expertise and passion to the Marketing and Communications team working alongside Naomi Fletcher.
