Gabriela Vazquez Mattar ‘Gaby’

Gabriela Vazquez Mattar ‘Gaby’ is a London-based artist and choreographer whose work combines technical skill, creative curiosity, and a bold presence on stage. As a graduate of The Urdang Performing Arts College and Impact Academy, Gaby has developed strong versatility as a dancer, continuously exploring and developing her movement language through years of dedicated training and performance.

Her performance credits include major platforms such as The National Theatre, Sadler’s Wells East, The Place, BBC, and Mambocity, as well as high-profile appearances at Indigo at The O2 and multiple international movie premieres, including Trolls, Elemental, and Iwájú. Gaby has also represented Impact Dance internationally, performing in Atlanta, Germany, and Wales, as well as taking on the role of Captain, which gave her greater responsibility within the company.

Alongside her performance work, Gaby has choreographed for Impact Dance on numerous occasions, including choreographing for the premiere of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. She has also taught internationally at Escape Dance Holiday in Fuerteventura.

Gaby continues to develop her training with Boy Blue and Hydrogen, while teaching at schools including Barking Abbey, Pimlico Academy, and St Claudine’s. She also currently holds the role of Academy Deputy Lead at Impact Dance.
