Impact Dance is proud to offer a state-of-the-art event space and dance studio for hire, designed by world-renowned architects tp bennett. Impact is located in Central London, Shaftesbury Avenue, a short walk from Tottenham Court Road station.

Why Hire Our Space?
Impact’s event space and dance studio, located above
the historic Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church, is both private and quiet, making it an ideal for a wide range of activities including;
TV/ film read-throughs, auditions, dance and theatre rehearsals, workshops, meetings, conferences, screenings, performances, photoshoots, filming and research & development.
A proportion of funds generated from every commercial hire helps support our mission of empowering young people at Impact Dance Academy to unlock their full potential.
Our state-of-the-art studio has premium features fitted by world-leading companies;
- Spacious sprung floors by Harlequin Floors: safe and supportive for dancers of all levels
- Full-length mirrors
- Top tier Soundproofing by Autex Acoustics
- High spec PA system with bluetooth and microphones
- Adjustable lighting
- Smaller breakout room: The Safe (available to hire at an extra cost)
- Kitchen: The Chill
- Back entrance access (great for unloading / VIP guest access)
- WC facilities
- Lift access
- Free Wi-Fi
- Natural light without being overlooked
We have specialist event equipment on site* including a projector and screen, a large number of chairs & tables (round and rectangular), a piano & ballet barres.
We can also provide access to various items* such as; mugs, drinking glasses, refillable water bottles, a hot water urn and black tablecloths.
Availability & Rates
We offer flexible booking slots:
- Weekdays – Monday to Friday
- Saturdays (outside of term-time)
- Hourly, half-day, or full day hire
- Special rates for community and non-profit organisations
- Last minute discounted booking for artists on Tuesdays*

Who uses our space?
Our space has been used by theatre and TV production companies including Disney, RSC, ITV, the BBC, Netflix, Sonia Friedman Productions, Jamie Wilson Entertainment and Trafalgar Entertainment.
We have hosted read-throughs, castings, auditions and rehearsals for a wide range of clients including Disney’s; The Lion King & Hercules, Royal Shakespeare Company’s; Matilda, Stranger Things on Stage, The Devil Wears Prada. Plus, dance and theatre companies such as the Royal Ballet, LSC , West End on Demand, Sadler’s Wells and Akoma Asa Arts.
