Nia James grew in confidence, leadership, and artistry during her time at Impact Dance. As a student, she transformed from a shy, quiet young dancer into a motivated and disciplined performer, setting the foundation for a career in dance education and performance.
The Impact Effect
“Before I came to Impact, I was quite shy and didn’t really believe in myself,” Nia reflects. Impact provided the training, mentorship, and supportive environment she needed to develop leadership skills, refine her technique, and understand the value of discipline in dance.
Best Memories / Highlights
Traveling and performing with friends remain Nia’s most cherished experiences. Sharing stages, learning together, and celebrating collective achievements instilled a deep sense of teamwork and joy in her craft.
Life After Impact
Today, Nia contributes to Impact Dance as an Academy Coordinator and Co-Lead Dance Artist, nurturing the next generation of performers. She carries forward the lessons of discipline, confidence, and leadership, ensuring that students feel empowered both on and off the stage.
Some of my best memories are travelling and performing with my friends – those experiences shaped my confidence and love for dance.
