Jessica Bokuma’s formative years at Impact Dance nurtured both her passion for performance and her personal development. During her time at Impact, she discovered a discipline and focus that would later guide her through education and into a high-powered career in finance.
The Impact Effect
“Impact Dance played a huge role in shaping who I became during my teenage years,” Jessica reflects. The company offered her a space to dedicate herself fully, build confidence, and understand that consistent effort produces results – lessons she has carried into every aspect of her life.
Best Memories / Highlights
A poignant memory was her first overnight trip without her parents for a show in Oxford. Jessica recalls feeling the weight of responsibility and trust from the Impact leaders, a moment that underscored the support and belief the company instilled in its students.
Life After Impact
Nearly 20 years later, Jessica continues to value the lessons learned at Impact. Dance remains a central part of her life, both as a form of personal expression and as a reminder of the discipline and perseverance that have shaped her career as a Quantitative Researcher.
The passion and discipline that Impact instilled in me remain central to who I am today, and I’ll always treasure the foundation it gave me.
