Gabriela Vazquez Mattar
Gabriela Vazquez Mattar is a rising artist and choreographer whose work combines technical precision, creative curiosity, and a strong stage presence.
As Captain of the Impact Youth Company and a core member of Hydrogen, she is developing her own movement language through years of dedicated training and performance experience.
Her credits include performances at the National Theatre, Sadler’s Wells East, The Place, BBC, and Mambocity, alongside appearances at indigo at The O2 and international film premieres including Trolls, Elemental, and Iwájú. She has also represented Impact Dance internationally in Germany and Atlanta.
As a choreographer, Gabriela has created work for Impact Dance’s End of Year Show, the London Youth Games Dance Competition, and Battersea Arts Centre’s Outrageous Behaviour Festival. She also choreographed and performed for the Trolls movie premiere.
Alongside her performance and creative work, Gabriela is an active educator, teaching at Impact Dance Junior Academy and supporting dance development across schools and youth programmes.
She holds a Level 4 Diploma in Dance from The Dang and continues to develop her practice through performance, teaching, and collaboration.
