Impact Youth Company: Pre-Show Performance for ZooNation’s Ebony Scrooge

We’re thrilled to announce that Impact Youth Company has been invited to perform a special pre-show foyer piece for ZooNation’s brand-new production, Ebony Scrooge.

This is an exciting opportunity for our young dancers to showcase their talent ahead of one of the most anticipated Christmas productions of the year.

About Ebony Scrooge

Storytelling dance powerhouse ZooNation gives Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol a bold hip hop makeover in this vibrant new adaptation – a Christmas treat for all ages.

Created by east London–born choreographer Dannielle “Rhimes” Lecointe, Associate Artistic Director of ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company (Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, Some Like It Hip Hop), Ebony Scrooge blends hip hop, comedy and physical theatre. With original music by Michael “Mikey J” Asante (Boy Blue, The Effect), audiences are guaranteed to be grooving all the way home.

A ZooNation and Sadler’s Wells production.

Impact Youth Company Performance

Our dancers will present a dynamic foyer performance on the 16 December, welcoming audiences as they arrive and setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

This platform gives our young artists the chance to perform as part of a collaboration between two of the UK’s leading hip-hop theatre companies – a testament to their hard work, dedication and creativity.
