AUDITION FOR CHAPTER 30: A CELEBRATION OF IMPACT DANCE
Join us as we mark 30 years of Impact Dance with Chapter 30 – a landmark evening of performance at the Bloomsbury Theatre on Saturday 20 June 2026.
We are seeking passionate, skilled and committed dancers to join our company for Chapter 30. Auditions will take place on Thursday 29 January 2026 for both of the following opportunities:
- Professional Ensemble – 7 dancers
- Apprentice Dancers – up to 4 dancers

PROFESSIONAL ENSEMBLE
We are looking for seven strong Hip-Hop and Street Dancers to form a professional ensemble to perform in Chapter 30, and work with established choreographers and Artistic Directors including Hakeem “Mr Impact” Onibudo, Cherilyn Albert, Olivia Francis, Kenrick Sandy, Mikey J Asante and Vicki Igbokwe-Ozoagu.
Essential Skills:
- Strong in Hip-Hop and Street Dance styles (in addition, we are looking for individuals who are proficient in “Poppin’”)
- Ability to follow and carry out artistic direction and vision
- Strong stage presence, freestyle and performance skills
- A punctual and reliable team player
- Problem solver who thinks on their feet
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong in choreographic and movement retention
All-inclusive fee £1803.00 *ITC rates
APPRENTICE DANCERS
We are looking for up to four strong Hip-Hop and Street Dancers aged 18 + to be part of an apprenticeship scheme and join the ensemble for Chapter 30. This is a fantastic opportunity for young emerging dancers currently at university or in further training to gain valuable experience of working with high profile choreographers and collaborating with a professional ensemble.
This is not a paid position but a bursary of £250 will be paid to each dancer who completes the apprenticeship.
AUDITION DETAILS
Audition Date: Thursday 29 January 2026, 10am-6pm (must be available all day)
Recalls: Friday 30 January 2026, 10am-6pm (must be available all day)
Auditions and recalls will be held at Impact Dance, 235 Shaftesbury Ave, London WC2H 8EP
Successful dancers for both roles need to be available from:
Monday 1 June – Saturday 20 June (inclusive)
Audition attendance for both the professional ensemble and the apprenticeship scheme is by registration only.
