The workshops delivered by Impact Dance have been incredibly valuable in supporting our students’ preparation for their practical dance exams.

For over three decades, Impact Dance has been energising schools’ settings with authentic Hip Hop and Street dance experiences that build confidence, creativity and leadership. We deliver everything from after-school clubs, one-off workshops and longer term programmes, to work experience placements and performance projects – all designed to engage young people through the power of movement.
Each session reflects the unique ethos of Impact Dance: to help young people to MOVE as dancers, GROW as individuals.
Through engaging and high-quality sessions, students have developed confidence, technical skills, and a strong foundation in hip hop dance. These workshops have not only contributed significantly to their coursework but have also offered the exciting opportunity to perform in front of live audiences at Impact Dance.

Led by our experienced, DBS-checked teachers, our sessions are high-energy, inclusive and tailored to the needs of each group – whether that’s introducing beginners to Hip Hop foundations or helping GCSE and BTEC Dance students develop technique, choreography and performance skills inspired by professional street dance practice.
Where possible, we will always offer schools we are working with performance opportunities; either at Impact Dance studios or at an event we are running elsewhere. Providing opportunities to culminate in a professional performance experience helps add value to our programmes and a chance for schools to celebrate their student’s achievements.
We’re proud to keep all of our education programmes accessible, affordable and adaptable, ensuring that every school can bring the transformative impact of dance into their community.
