TRAIN TO TEACH
INSPIRE: DANCE TEACHER TRAINING INTENSIVE
Are you an aspiring dance teacher or dance professional interested in dance teacher training? Are you passionate about making an impact in your community? Do you want to level up your skills for working with young people?
Our unique training intensive is an opportunity for dance artists to gain knowledge and understanding in:
- Management and communication skills
- Planning effective dance sessions
- Creating an inclusive dance practice
- Safeguarding and Health & Safety
- Impact Dance’s distinctive teaching style
This course is primarily intended for those teaching Hip-Hop, Street Dance and styles from the African diaspora, but we welcome artists across all dance styles.
Successful applicants will receive a small financial bursary to cover loss of earnings / assist them in attending. Applicants must be able to commit to the whole course and assessment date (TBC on successful application) in order to be in receipt of a bursary.
The course will also introduce participants to future opportunities to work with Impact Dance as part of our growing teaching team.
