Melodie Brannan

Melodie is excited to be joining the dynamic team of Impact Dance as Producing Assistant working alongside/assisting Paige. She originally trained at Laban Centre London and BRIT school and has worked in the dance sector for over twenty years.

Since then, she has lived and worked in the USA for 10 years as studio manager and teacher for Fred Astaire Dance Studios. During that time, she developed an interest in a holistic approach to teaching dance, its benefits and using dance as a tool to create community.

Melodie founded Daisy Roots Movement (DRM) in 2015, a multi-faceted performance collective. She loves to nurture and provide support for people’s talents and passions regardless of training or experience, she enjoys creating opportunities and collaborating with creatives. She has co-produced music videos and DRM have performed at a variety of music festivals, club and theatre events. 

She has been a part of the social enterprise DanceGrist since 2020 and recently provided workshops for Ham Youth Centre and Kids on the Green. She has also completed Child Protection and Safeguarding training with youth mentoring service Forward Ever Education.
