The London Festival of Architecture (LFA) celebrates London as the global hub for architecture. It began in 2004, and has since grown to become the world’s largest annual architecture festival. The LFA’s 2021 theme is ‘care’ and highlights the growing challenge of accessing community space.
In collaboration with tp bennett we commissioned 10 international dance films from collaborators across the world, as well as, a curated Whatsapp discussion and a live dance performance. Some of these artists have never created dance for screen before, so this project has given them the chance to explore their creativity.
These 10 films, as well as being a showcase of dance on screen, give an insight into how Impact Dance and tp bennett are working to strengthen the Hip-Hop dance community globally by providing new opportunities.
