Bursary Scheme
The cost of attending Academy should not be a barrier to any young person wishing to attend Impact Dance.
We offer a series of bursaries to support those with financial challenges.
Level 1 – 25% discount – £60 per term
Level 2 – 50% discount – £40 per term
Level 3 – 75% discount – £20 per term
Level 4 – Full bursary – 100% fees covered

Bursary Call Guide
- Tell us about your circumstances (check if they meet criteria)
- Consider what you can afford to contribute
- Establish if this is a short or long term situation
- Suggest a bursary level – If we offer….. would that enable ### to attend?
- Confirm the bursary is subject to approval and establish a decision date
- If approved, we can then put an agreed bursary in place for # terms and review at # point
Decision Process
A recommendation is made by the person making the assessment based on the individuals’ circumstances. This is then discussed with a second member of the Senior Management Team for final decision and approval.
Bursary Criteria
The following will be taken into consideration when assessing individuals’ circumstances:
- You receive Free School Meals
- You receive Pupil Premium
- One or both parents living in the same household as you receive Universal Credit
- One or both parents living in the same household as you receive Housing Benefit
- You live in one of the following areas: Westminster, Camden, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Ealing, Wandsworth, Enfield, Haringey, Brent, Lewisham, Barking & Dagenham, Hackney, Hounslow, Lambeth, Redbridge, Barnet, Bexley, Croydon and Southwark
- You have an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) or are waiting for an EHCP
- You are living in care
- You are a migrant, asylum seeker or undocumented person
- You travel more that 40 miles to attend Academy
- Any other short term or ongoing situation that is causing you financial hardship.
