Then why not join our Board?
Our Board members oversee the artistic programme, financial and business operations of Impact Dance, ensuring we have resources in place to deliver our ambitious artistic plans. They support us with advice and guidance on how we manage our team, finances and drive our business.
We have an opportunity for two new board members to join our Board of Non-Executive Directors, specifically people with finance and/or communications/marketing expertise (please see full person specification here).
YOUR COMMITMENT
- 5-10 days per annum
- 4 x 2 hr Board Meetings a year (online or in-person in an accessible London or Birmingham based venue – travel costs will be paid)
- 4 x 1 hour Activity Monitoring meetings a year (online)
- Reading papers, watching videos and preparation for board meetings
- 1 x Staff and Board Away Day per year
- You will be invited to observe our work to inform the discussions taking place
- Give ad-hoc advice and guidance

We want people with different backgrounds, experiences and ideas to support our vision, challenge us to be the best organisation we can be and bring passionate support for the company’s mission.
We actively seek Board Members who reflect the majority demographic of our beneficiaries (female/ Black Afro Caribbean heritage). We want a spectrum of different viewpoints to be included, especially those with underrepresented voices e.g. people of colour, disabled people, trans/non-binary people.
The role is voluntary with travel expenses and access costs (including childcare) paid.
